Meal Plan Friday 26th June 2020

I am a couple of days late with the meal plan, it has been one of those weeks with school work, school meetings, we have to choose a secondary school for our eldest in September, then the heatwave and my brain decided it had had enough.

Friday - Greek Traybake we were meant to have this last week but we had a BBQ so the meals got changed around a little

Saturday - Peri Peri Chicken with chips and a salad

Sunday - Sausages in a giant Yorkshire pudding

Monday - Chicken Kiev, new potatoes and salad. The boys will have crispy chicken, mash and salad.

Tuesday - Melt in the middle fishcakes with salad tor peas this is from pinch of nom 

Wednesday - Jambalaya again this is pinch of nom. The boys will have this just not as spicy.

Thursday - Fajita pie another pinch of nom. The boys will have pizza quesadillas.

  3. We call giant sausages in a yorkshire pudding toad-in-the-hole, and it's one of our favourites . (It's also on our menu this week.) I've been craving a Jamabalya, I'll have to check out the recipe on pinch of nom.

Mint is trying to take over the garden

I  am trying to tidy the garden up. We are a bit tight for money this month and I want to plant lots of bulbs. Instead I am tidying and keeping busy, let's be honest the garden is a weed haven and a total mess so I have a lot to do. Clearing this border however I have made a very important discovery. That mint is trying to take over the world, one border at a time. Two years ago I planted out a very sad and mainly dead supermarket mint plant. Meal Plan Friday 30th September 2022

 The weather is really starting to turn and we are starting to want some more comfort food. Friday - Pizza as the boys have swimming and we do not have much time Saturday - Sticky Chinese chicken Sunday - Pork medallions with apples and roasts monday - Chicken burgers with cheese and pineapple tuesday - tagaltlli in a cheese sauce with mushrooms and ham wednesday - tuna fishcakes served with green veg and tomato sauce thursday - birthday tea for my middle son of pizza and chips with two friends we will have veggie chilli and rice

Meal Plan Friday 11th March 2022

 Spring seems to be slowly springing into action. The garden much to my delight is coming back to life with the bulbs planted in the autumn about to come into flower. Friday - Sweet and Sour Chicken Saturday - Gammon, Egg and Chips Sunday - Toad in the Hole Monday - Fish, New Potatoes and veggies. Fishcakes for the boys. Tuesday - Chicken Curry Wednesday - Quorn Slices with mash and veggies Thursday - Fajita Pie. Wraps for the boys.
