Meal Plan Friday 23rd November 2018

It has been a long old week, Mr MC&W has been away in India since Saturday and I have been solo parenting. This is fine, the hardest part is all the type 1 decisions I am making on my own with out him to talk it over with. This week is not too heavy food as he has informed me all he has done is eaten three course meals for lunch and dinner.

Friday - Chicken Cesar Salad for us as it is a light and fresh meal. The boys are having fish and chips as last week they had McDonald's aster the eldest had an accident at school.

Saturday - Spag Bol for us all

Sunday - Quorn dippers, mash and veggies for the boys and we are having a fish and lentil dish this one is so simple and tasty

Braised peas with bacon lentils-and-cod

Monday - Spinach and Courgette Fritatta with salad this is from Ginos Healthy Italian. The boys will have tomato soup with rolls

Tuesday - Maple Glazed Sausages in rolls with wedges. The boys will have spaghetti in a homemade tomato sauce and cheese

Maple glazed hot dogs with mustardy onions

Wednesday - Simple Paella this is an Ainsley Harriot recipe form his meals in mins book I am trying the boys with this.

Thursday - We have the school bazaar so food needs to be simple and quick, tortellini for the boys and we will have it slightly more interesting

  1. You say the meals are simple yet they sound so amazing, honestly.
I do hope your son isn't too badly injured and is on the mend.
I need to try tomato soup one day. If I have ever had it, it must have been over 20 years ago. I will try it again and see if we like it here. Do you make it from scratch or do you just buy the canned ones?
Do have a great frugal week ahead.
