Meal Plan Friday 28th December

The meal plan is a little late as to be honest the last few days the last thing I have wanted to think about was food. We had no idea what we wanted to eat so late last night Mr MC&W and I tried to get a few meal ideas to get us through till new years day.

 Friday - We had turkey curry we got a sauce form the supermarket and some microwavable rice and the boys had the same.

 Saturday - Chicken Cesar salad the boys wanted spaghetti hoops and I said that's fine will have it with lots of cheese and salad bits

 Sunday - Ham Hock Burgers - I will use the left over gammon. The boys will have quorn nuggets, mash and peas

 Monday - NYE we will have pizza and wedges followed by cheese and lots of prosecco. The boys will also have pizza and salad.

 Tuesday - Roast beef served on large Yorkshire pudding with roast pots, carrots and peas for us all.

 Wednesday - Gionos Healthy Spinach and Courgette Frittata. I add some potato to this for a little extra. The boys will have omelette's and chips.

 Thursday - I found this gnocchi dish I will add extra veggies like peppers and mushrooms and not add the anchovies but will be based around this idea with a big green salad. The boys will have this but a simpler version gnocchi in a tomato sauce.

    Sounds like some delicious meals! I think I need to try and make some large yorkshire puddings filled!

    It's funny that your children wanted hoops after all the fancy Christmas food! I don't eat tinned spaghetti but I understand how they feel, simple meals for us too!

    You can't beat a nice roast beef can you! Sounds like you've had a great week of meals while eliminating waste!

Planting LolliPop Trees Elaeagnus ebbingei

I can not believe the day had finally arrived, the trees we had put so much thought into were going to be planted. We had the conifer and last shrubs removed and the whole area dug over and ready for the arrival of the LolliPop Trees Elaeagnus ebbingei. Finding Elaeagnus Ebbingei Area cleared and ready for the trees I was on the school run when they arrived. Bulb Rescue

Plants amaze me all the time, this morning I was tidying up and found a upturned pot. Under the pot I found bulbs that had fallen out but had started to grow leaves. They had no soil and still, these plucky little bulbs were wanting to grow. No soil and abandoned  Growing with no soil So I have attempted a rescue mission using things I could quickly find. I found a little old terracotta pot and some stones. Old Pot Few stones I had no compost (shocking I know) but I did have a huge molehill, so I grabbed some soil from that and filled the pot just over half full. Did you have a good day?

I decided to write this post as a Mummy of a little boy who is on the Autism Spectrum  and has very limited speech and understanding, I wanted to give a glimpse into our world. He had been for a school trip to a small local airport and this is the story of collection and journey home.... As I walked through the door I almost heard the sigh of relief from the teachers, "Mummy is here" was said in that slightly high pitched tone mixing happy and stress all at the same time. OB runs towards me shouting Mummy then collapsed on the floor just by my feet telling me "I want yo see  animals and go to Legoland". OK I think to myself here we go, I bent down to his level and said in that slight high pitched fake happy tone that it was time to get into Mummy's car, but he was getting distressed the word Lego was being said repeatedly.
