Last weeks meal plan went well, the Hawian Chicken was delicious and we definitely will be having this again. This week we are watching the pennies a little more than normal as school bits have cost quite a bit. So I am using bits from the freezer and the store cupboard.
Friday - Scampi and chips. Fish fingers and chips for the boys.
Saturday - Spag Bol
Sunday - BBQ for a family birthday
Monday - Tuna Pasta Bake
Tuesday - Cornish Chunkies. These sound interesting.
Wednesday - What's in the Fridge Fried rice
Thursday - Sausages and homemade beans with jackets
Back to school time is SO expensive isn't it! I hope it goes well for us all!
ReplyDeleteLovely meal plan, as always, and well done on using up what you have in - always a great way to save some money! x
Love the sound of the Cornish chunkies!
ReplyDeleteAhh we did the school shop too and it definitely does all add up. The Cornish chunkies sound like a great way of using up leftover veg - and the kids won't even notice they're eating veggies if it's stuffed inside pastry. Cunning ! lol
ReplyDeleteAhh! School stuff is so expensive isn't it. I am so thankful that we've not had much to buy this year.
ReplyDeleteGreat meal plan! The Cornish Chunkies do sound interesting. x
